September 29th, The TOBUSCUS London Riot.

All jokes aside, this was, literally, a Mob of Audience Members.

Basically on September 27th, 2012, Toby Turner posted a tweet about a meetup for the ones available on the September 29th.

Apparently, EVERYONE was available.

     This meet-up was planned to be 2 hours long, which is a decent amount of time to meet about 100 audience members and have conversations, take pictures, sign autographs, etc. This idea very soon faded away when over 2,000 British Audience Members showed up. (Estimated by Seth Hendrix)

Pre-TOBUSCUS arrival

 Toby and Seth arrive approximately 4:40 (40 minutes late) and the meetup escalated fast. Toby was unable to to move around freely, was constantly groped, shoved, hugged, shouted at, etc, according to videos by audience members. I saw an Audience Member ruffle his head, and others what looked like to be trying to take a bit of him home (a lock of hair). Another person had silly string and was just spraying it on everyone. Exhaustion and fear was clear on Toby's face, but many didn't seem to notice. He was often engulfed/drowned by the massive amounts of people around him, causing many non-crazy Audience Members not being able to see him at all that day.

New York pride... IN LONDON. Sweet.

    Many times Toby made the suggestion to be on one side of the Audience, and for them to disperse a little... and kind of succeeded... the Audience trapped him against the golden fence... so they were kind of on one side of him... He asked if there was a way for him to get higher, and it was suggested to climb the fence, and that was what he did (seeing that many pressured him to do it, and the whole situation was too overwhelming) Many tried to help and push him over the fence... which in the long run probably wasn't the greatest idea and probably didn't help him too much.

 (and I may not live in London, nor Europe for that matter, but I'm sure it was illegal to climb over the fence, but that's okay. shhh. don't tell anyone)

About 20 guys climbed over the fence with him (and 1 or 2 girls)

Meanwhile Toby was being Mobbed, Seth was just mingling with the Audience Members/Close friends of his, actually being able to take pictures and sign stuff, which was nice.

        Soon Toby decided this was a mistake, and people were going to get hurt, so to his best ability, he tried to get through the crowd once more, and leave to prevent any more injuries.

        About 100 feral Audience chased him, and surrounded the Taxi that was waiting for him at a red light. They banged on the windows and car, and blocked the streets which just caused a big mess. When the Taxi got free, some audience members attempted to run after the Taxi, yelling about not letting Toby escape.

AFTER-MATH

     4 police cars, a medical motorcycle, 2 Ambulance cars, and 1 big ambulance came to the scene. One girl got seriously stabbed from climbing the fence and I believe went to the hospital, someone pierced their shoe when climbing it, others fell over and got trampled, and one witness says they saw someones foot get run over by the taxi (ow).

Also 2 other famous youtubers came, TheSyndicateProject and Piddleass, who were also mobbed when seen.

He's pretty good looking. damn.

All in all, Toby managed his situation in a very cool, mature manner. He thought of others first, and really tried to keep things calm.

        I guess I could understand why the fans chased after him when he tried to get away. Some of them were waiting for 5 hours, and ones who didn't come that early did have to wait 40 minutes because Toby and Seth were late. Also this is their IDOL, the legend himself in your country... I guess one would get carried away and want him to stay, at any means possible.

    IMPORTANT NOTE:  Only about 20% of the 2,o00 Brit's were obnoxious, rude individuals, and the guy to girl ratio was even,  both genders were hugging, and mobbing him equally.
